Nearly 138,000 Lucid-branded platform beds are being recalled in the and due to risks of collapsing, which can lead to falls and injuries. The recall affects beds sold at major retailers including Amazon and .

The beds, manufactured between 2019 and 2021, have been linked to 245 incidents of collapse in the U.S., causing 18 injuries, and 11 incidents in Canada. Consumers are urged to stop using the beds immediately.

Response and Replacement

CVB Inc., the importer, advises affected consumers to contact Lucid for a free replacement frame. To initiate the process, consumers must mark the bed's support rails with the word "recalled" and send photographs to Lucid.

The recall notice emphasizes that the beds can be identified by a white law label on the back of the headboard, detailing the manufacturer and the recall instructions for consumers.
