is recalling approximately 220,000 Ninebot Max G30P and Max G30LP KickScooters due to a folding mechanism failure that can lead to falls and serious injuries.

The (CPSC) reported 68 incidents of folding mechanism failures, resulting in 20 injuries, including abrasions, bruises, lacerations, and broken bones.

Consumer Action and Sales Information

Affected consumers are urged to stop using the scooters immediately and contact Segway for a free maintenance kit to inspect and adjust the scooters' locking mechanism.

The recalled scooters were sold between January 2020 and February 2025 at major retailers and online platforms across the , with prices ranging from $600 to $1,000.
