Stellantis Recalls Over 1.2 Million Ram Trucks Due to Software Issue

is recalling more than 1.2 million Ram 1500 trucks in the and nearly 1.5 million worldwide due to a software problem that can disable the electronic stability control system.

The recall affects trucks from the 2019 and 2021 through 2024 model years. Dealers will update the software at no cost to owners, who will be notified starting Oct. 3.

Additional Recalls

In addition to the Ram trucks, Stellantis is recalling 32,863 Jeep Gladiator vehicles and certain 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles due to issues that could potentially lead to a crash.

This recall follows a series of other recalls by Stellantis this year, including issues with airbags, ball joints, and seat belt sensors.
